My mission is to empower joy for others with words and art, and to honor God with the talent he has given me. My career has been Critical care nursing for patients of all ages, but my love of art was ever present and started at a very young age.
My grandpa was artistic, carving wood figures and illustrating cartoons for us. He was the first one who encouraged me to develop my art interests and gave me my first lessons in drawing. He would cut out pictures done by other artists and encouraged me to make my own version of each picture and then we would talk about how to improve. I loved that time he spent with me and the encouragement he always showered me with. I think of him and my grandma with every project.
HELLO, I am so happy you are here. I am Terri, a multimedia artist, author, retired critical care nurse, and most recently, a surface pattern designer. I am passionate about my faith, family, and the joy and healing art can bring. I look forward to our friendship and getting to know you.
I create primitive folkart and so many fun designs in muted colors on surfaces, fabric, as bears, dolls, and original old Santas, and even stationary products, with the purpose to encourage, inspire, and empower Joy for your heart and home.
Come and explore your creative side and fill your soul in creative gift giving for your self or others, or explore more creative ideas for your own artist at heart.
FUN with a purpose, not perfection. Feel free to sign up for our mailing list to know when products are available and to keep up to date on new products, original handcrafted items, or freebies I am currently creating just for you. Watch for my blog where I will share more about my life, faith, and art as we get to know each other.
